Ask yourself this before making decisions

How many times have your fears and beliefs in your head stopped you from chasing your dreams?

From pushing yourself to try something new?

From speaking to that person? Going to that event? Taking part in that adventure

From believing in yourself? Hiring a coach? Investing in your health?

It is so easy to be controlled by that voice in the back of our head, settling and accepting that this is the way that life has to be..

As your focus shifts to all the reasons why you can’t do something, rather than why you should.

But the problem with that, is it isn’t empowering, it keeps us trapped, as we become defined by our excuses, watching life from the sidelines and wasting time we could never get back.

So here’s what I want you to do:

Next time you are faced with a decision, you’re doubting yourself, not sure if you should do something or are worrying about failing…

Take a deep breath and ask yourself…

What would the person I’m becoming do right now?

I’ll say that again.

What would the person I’m becoming do right now?

Because if you truly want to set yourself free and find happiness in who you are, then you’re going to to have to let go of the person you used to be.

That identity, those fears and those beliefs and holding you back, and it’s not longer serving you.

That’s why instead you need to base your choices on the person you want to become, on your goals, your future self and the life you want.

Because when you do that’ that’s when you’ll KNOW that you’re making the right decision.

That you are in control of your future and the life that you will life.

Always remember…

If you can change your mind, then you can change your life.

What do you do before making decisions or when faced with tough choices?
