Phase 6

Focusing on you

Phase 6 is about shifting the focus onto you, as you bring together everything you’ve done so far and start to find happiness, balance and within fulfilment in yourself.

  • Your first task in this phase is to go through the self assessment sheet in the downloadable pdf below, and have a honest reflection of the last 7 days
  • Assess the big win you set yourself so far and how you are getting on
  • Think about other areas you need to start focusing on more and where your attention needs to be placed for this phase
  • Share an overview of your week in the group, along with how you are going to become a better you next week

In this PDF you can find the questions you need to reflect and evaluate your progress and state of mind over the last 7 days.

Finding balance

In life we seem to always be on the go, rushing around and trying to do a million things at once, and when you combine that with your goals and everything else, it can quickly become too much.

That’s why finding a balance between different aspects is essential, as it will go a long way in helping both your mental and emotional health.

  • Think of about your current routine and behaviours – is there anywhere you are pushing yourself too hard?
  • Where in life can you potentially take a step back?
  • Or how can you find ways to give your body a break mentally and physically?

Changing state

When you are truly at cause you can both recognise and accept that feelings, moods and emotions are merely states of mind.

That means by taking responsibility for your own thoughts, actions and focusing on what you want, you can change how you think and feel.

  • Changing state only works if you are 100% at cause and you follow this exercise exactly as stated
  • If it doesn’t work make sure you properly apply your focus and belief

Permission to focus on you

For a lot of people focusing on their own health and happiness can bring along feelings of guilt, especially if they have spent most of their life focusing on everyone else and feeling like they are at the bottom of the priority list.

That’s why in order to start reclaiming your self-worth, you need to start telling yourself that not only should you be a priority, but you deserve to be as well.

  • Set yourself the task of doing something over the next few days that is solely for you
  • This can be anything from having a bath to reading a book, going for a walk or anything else you truly want to do, but have been putting off due to other parts of your life

Moving forward

It’s important to remember that life is an ongoing journey, which is why you need to continue reassessing where you are, setting yourself new goals and pushing yourself to try new things.

That’s why to finish up this programme I want you to revisit the initial self-assessment, and from that create a new vision statement for the next 3 months of your journey and share it in the group.
